In our view, the kiwifruit industry has to change. We must make sure we can keep one step ahead of the rest of our global competitors who are competing more and more aggressively and bringing more fruit cultivars onto the market.
To keep ahead of the pack we need new cultivars and innovative ideas. Turners & Growers has these ideas and cultivars. We have growers in New Zealand who want to grow these varieties now, supermarkets overseas who want to stock them and consumers who want to eat them.
Please refer to our latest presentation: WHY THINGS HAVE TO CHANGE in the New Zealand Kiwifruit industry.
All the information about our position on the future of the kiwifruit industry is available here and will be regularly updated to keep you informed.
