Around 50 staff are employed at the Turners & Growers pre-pack facility located in Pukekohe, just South of Auckland, where top quality potatoes, onions and carrots are packed into a variety of bags for sale into supermarkets around New Zealand.
The current pre-pack facility has been operational since 1999, and is a familiar landmark in the Pukekohe region. The majority of the product packed at Pukekohe is sourced in the district and each year the facility packs and distributes 4.7 million kilograms of potatoes, 1.5 million kilograms of carrots and 4.7 million kilograms of onions.
